Increasingly disgusted with NT… And I'm a veteran user

It is positively mind-blowing to me, that here we are, pretty much 15 years later, and this graphic-heavy platform (that is a good thing):

    1. not only does not have the ability to freaking UNDO a drawing object or any other command.
    2. It also doesn't have an AUTO-SAVE feature that you can configure to a time of your choice or any type of auto save feature at all.

I completely lost all of my work this morning when NT crashed, yet again, while configuring my workspace for the morning.
Not only did this completely trash my entire trading morning, it trashed my student-client's mornings as well.

    GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE

It is time to prioritize some 101 basics here.

And, Ninjatrader, while you're at it, why don't you undo the obvious outsourcing that you have put in place for customer support.
This new level of incompetence and lack of knowledge is only mildly offset by professionalism over the phone.

This platform and brokerage support experience is really beginning to take a crap here.

    Hello TrippTraders,

Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.

We appreciate your valuable feedback as we aim to meet our users' ever evolving trading needs. If you haven't already, please contact our technical support team for assistance regarding your workspace and platform crash. This is generally unexpected behavior but if you have an existing workspace or backup file you can recover from, our team can assist with this further.

Regarding your additional points, while NinjaTrader does not offer an auto save feature there is a built in tool that keeps previously saved states of your workspace in the event that you need to recover from them or simply looking to revisit it. I encourage you to submit a feature request for an auto save feature at the following link.

Additionally, an 'undo' button has been a point of contention due to its inherent shortcut: 'Ctrl + Z' which in NinjaTrader activates/deactivates the OCO button. We are looking for a solution where this can configured without interrupting users existing knowledge of how NinjaTrader functions and expect to deliver more information in the future.

    ------------------------------------------

Ultimately, we are listening to feedback and making quality of life changes, you can find our most recent platform release notes here. If you believe that there is a tool or change that can benefit the overall community, please submit at the aforementioned 'Feature Request' link above for consideration.

Thank you and let us know if there's anything else I can clarify.

      Luis,

Pardon the language but, please… Spare me the bull**** about Ctrl-Z… that's like a car manufacturer saying "well we can't have a steering wheel because it gets in the way of the shift lever"... Just get it done.

Read my lips: "There has never been a graphically-oriented program developed on the face of this green earth that doesn't have an undo feature or an auto save feature, PERIOD".. Except of course for Ninjatrader."

Interesting about how my post has been hidden from public view.
Well, Not so much interesting as nauseating
