Reset DB Keep ATM

My sqlite file is now way too big, > 1GB. I don't need to retain any old information except the ATM(s)

My objective is to save space, reset the all DB and clean everything in the db also to clear space and lighten up the Ninjatrader platform.

But I don't want to lose all my ATM(s)

The best method I know to clean the db is to delete the sqlite file in addition to deleting the day/minute/tick data directories and restarts. But unfortunately I loose all ATM(s) .


What is the best way to reset the all DB and clean the db without losing the ATM(s) ?

Is there a way to export all ATM(s) in a file or xml file?

I'm not sure if you've tried clearing your database files before but this does not affect your ATM strategies as these are located in the following directory:

• \Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\AtmStrategy

Do you mean something else gets lost when you clear your database?

hmmm.. I was unaware these were removed when deleting NinjaTrader.sqlite.

ATM.xml's are stored here: \Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\AtmStrategy

To be safe, instead of reset DB, you can simply go to Documents/NinjaTrader 8/ db and selectively delete minute, day, Cache,Tick,etc. data files that you want to remove.
