Ghost Order in Sim Account

By mistake, I hit the "Buy" button on a chart window in my sim account while the market was closed. Now that the market is open, I still can't cancel the order from the screen nor from the orders window, nor can I change it. It's far from the current market price, so it might not be hit for a while--once it executes, if it does, I can just delete the trades. I don't want to reset the account.
Is there anything else that I can try?

20 minutes later: The market went passed my order without executing it. The order remains on the chart and in the orders window.

Thank you for the message.

Unfortunately, the only way to remove the stuck Sim order now is to reset the Sim account it was placed on.

• Goto the Control Center > Accounts tab > Right-click on the Simulation account you want to reset > Click "Edit account"
• Adjust the "Initial Cash" as desired
• Click the reset button in the bottom-right corner > Check the "Clear History" box if you want to remove the trade history too > Click OK
  • The stuck order will be gone.

A Sim order can get stuck for a few reasons, but some of those are:

• Placing an order while the market is closed
• Placing an order while data isn't connected
• Placing an order to an Expired contract or instrument

The only resolution at this time is to reset the account as mentioned above.
