Ninjatrader installer don't finish and wipes out

Hello Ninjatrader Community

I have a strange problem yesterday trying to install Ninjatrader V 8.1.2.1 to a friend using a Windows 11 computer, the installer begins to work and ask the usual questions and near the end of the process gauge bar gets back and close the installer and nothing is installed at the computer, no errors but no installation. I also tried with a previous release 8.1.1.7with the same outcome.

does anyone here have the same problem in the past?

Thanks for posting.

This may be due to Controlled Folder Access being enabled on the PC.

To disable this feature click the Windows Key on your keyboard > Search for "Controlled Folder Access" > Click on "Controlled Folder Access" > Turn "Controlled Folder Access" off->Reboot the PC then attempt to install NinjaTrader again.
