Tick chart: plot first bar on session open

Hi!

I cannot find settings how can I plot the first bar in Tick Chart (not Minute chart) exactly at the start of the NY trading hour. Is it possible to do somehow?

Thank you for reaching out.

The time frames that will be seen on the charts is controlled by the Trading Hours template.

You may view what template is in use on the chart by right clicking > Data Series > Data Section > Trading hours Template. When "< Use instrument settings>" is selected, NinjaTrader uses the hours that are defined in the instrument itself.

For example the "default 24x7" template would include all days of the week. Apply your template and then Right click the chart -> Reload all historical data once again.


To view what hours the Session Template refer to, go to Tools > Trading Hours. Use the top drop-down menu to view the template and its corresponding hours.
