Ninja Web | Session Open Marking

How to identify session open at 3PM Pacific (6PM Eastern)? Is there an automatic chart vertical line option (or any other automatic indicator) which can denote session 'open' without manually drawing it on the chart? This will help identify start of every session when scrubbing through many sessions in the chart.

    Hello ninza33,

    Thank you for the message.

You could change the color of the "Trading Hours Break Line" so that it is visible on your chart:
    • Right-click on the chart > Click Data Series
    • Scroll down to "Trading Hours Break Line" and expand the section
    • Change the color to something you can see and format the line as desired
    • Click OK
      • Here is an example of what this looks like on the chart:
        • Click image for larger version

Another way to easily see the different sessions would be to add the "Prior Day OHLC" indicator to the chart:
    • Right-click on the chart > Click Indicators
    • Scroll down to "Prior Day OHLC" and add it to the chart > Configure as desired
    • Click OK
      • Then you will be able to easily see the OHLC Values of prior days.

These are just a few of the ways that you could make it easier to see the different sessions.

Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.

        Hello ninza33,

        Thank you for your patience.

My apologies as I was moving too fast and missed the word Web when initially responding to your inquiry.

I was asking around to see if anyone else knew of a setting or indicator that would do this within the Web Platform and we are not aware of one at this time.

I have shared this with the Development team as a request to add this feature in a future update to the Web Platform. Unfortunately, we do not have any kind of timeline on when that would be implimented.

For now, you could look through the Community Indicators and see if there is anything in there that adds the functionality you are looking for.

Thank you for pointing this out so we can get it added in the future.

Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.

Thank you for looking into it further and submitting a feature request. Hopefully this gets developed soon as I rely on the Web version only (mac user)
