    The text and markers are outside the frame

    hello everyone

    How do you explain the fact that the plot of text and markers are outside the frame (see the graph in the attached file)?

    Can we say that this is price manipulation?

    Hello M.GHORBEL,

    Can you please create a new 1 Minute chart for the NQ 12-23 without a chart template (see attached screenhsot). Do the 1 Minute bars justify the executions?

    Does it make a difference if you right click in the Volumetric chart and select 'Reload All Historical Data'? What interval do you have selected for the Volumetric chart?

      Firstly I use the latest version of NT8 (NinjaTrader.Install.R8-0-28-0) and I can't find this option of "none template". (see attached screenshot)

      Secondly if I increase the timeframe then necessaraly bars justify executions. (see attached screenshot)

      It doesn't change anything when I right click in the Volumetric chart and select 'Reload All Historical Data'
      and the interval is 1 Second.

      I want to know why my strategy (applied at the same time) wins when it's a sim account and when it's a real account it's a loss. (see attached screenshot)

      The behavior of the bot is not understandable if it is not price manipulation. I added the trades on the NQ 20-23 (taken from the execution report generated by NT8) can you show me these prices on the graph (1 second) following the corresponding time?

        In other words, if the price is not manipulated then why 1 second bars don't justily the executions?

        Even if there is a bug in NT8 to display 1 second bar executions that does not explain the loss.

        If we code a winning strategy and we lose then it's better to stop everything.

        I'm trying to understand why, for several times (I can show you a lot of graphs), my strategy wins on a sim account but not on a real account.

          Hello MGHORBEL,

          Thank you for your response.

          To explain, orders are filled at the exchange, not by NinjaTrader, so orders will be dependent on market dynamics at the time the order reaches the exchange. On the other hand 'SIM' orders will try to simulate what would happen in a live market, but never exactly.


          One thing I do notice are your time stamps however, they are varied and don't seem to correlate. Please use the following instructions to 'sync your clock'.
          • Shutdown NinjaTrader
          • Right-click the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop
          • Select Adjust date/time
          • For Windows 10 click 'Date, Time, and regional formatting' -> Then click 'Additional date, time, and regional settings' -> then click 'Set the time and date'
          • Select the 'Internet Time' tab at the top
          • Set the server to time.nist.gov and then click Update.
          • If the message that appears says successful your PC clock should now be updated.
          • If not, select a different server from the Server: drop-down and try again (repeat until one of the servers is successful)


          After updating the PC clock, please restart NinjaTrader, then right-click the chart and select Reload All Historical Data.

            I did exactly what you told me and still the price does not justify the trades.
            I added a photo which combines the trades and the graph ("NQ 12-23" 26 Oct [Open bars]).

            If there is not an explanation, I think I have to publish in all the forums the manipulation of the price by the propfirm because I lost a lot of money because this.

              My previous communication was an attempt to resolve your trade markers - it looks like you are now referencing individual trades now.


              In an effort to further explore this, please email us your log and trace files at platformsupport@ninjatrader[dot]com using the instructions below:
              • Open the 'Windows File Explorer' then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
              • Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To > Compressed (zipped) Folder.
              • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
              • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

              You are encouraged to reference this forum post in the body and type 'ATTN LUIS' in the subject line.
