    How to get rid of "dead" limit orders

    After several power failures during trading when I connected back to my account I found some limit orders in light orange colors which I am unable to delete.

    Clicking on the x box does nothing. They are "dead".
    I was looking for those limit orders in the Click image for larger version

    Those limit orders are affecting the Zooming of the chart area.
    Is that any way to get rid of them ?

    Thank you in advance !

    Hello PlusONE,

    CRITICAL — If your inquiry involves live orders, please always reach out to your broker's Orders Desk immediately to confirm and manage your live orders and positions.

    If the orders were submitted to the Sim101 account, please reset the Sim101 account to remove the orders.
    • Go to Control Center-->Accounts-tab.
    • Right click the Sim101 account and select 'Edit Account'.
    • Click reset in the lower right.
    • Click Yes-->OK.
    If the orders were submitted to your live trading account, the display of these orders should be removed the next trading day. If not, please let me know.

    You can exclude these orders from the chart scale by right clicking in ChartTrader and disable the 'Auto scale' setting.

      Hi Jason,

      It is on the simulation account but the same happened even on the real account. However as you said the next trading day those dead orders were gone.
      I know about the resetting of the the simulation accounts. I am going to do it. However one thing is bothering me. When I try to do reset it and there is a checkbox "Clear History Data" the entire Ninja Trader freezes even for 10 min. Then it fails with an error message. That Simulation account has more than a year so probably it is a problem to delete such big amount of transaction.
      Anyway I can reset it without clearing the history data.

      If I will have other problems I will let you know.

      Thank you !
