    1 minute historical chart

I recently signed up with NT and purchased the $4/mth CME Data. I trade the 1 minute chart on MES. I would like to scroll back to a specific time and date using the webNT. How can I do this?
Can I get historical data for previous years' contracts for MES?

    Thank You.

    Hello hhazizi,

    Thank you for your note.

On NinjaTrader Web, you would need to load the continuous contract to be able to scroll between different contracts for MES. Otherwise, when a contract month/year is specified there is no merging and you will only be able to view data for that contract. To load the continuous contract, you add an @ symbol before the instrument name (@MES for example). As for scrolling to a specific date and time, there is no feature to jump to a specific date or time. I believe the simplest way currently would be to zoom out of your chart as far as you can, then click and drag to scroll back until you get to the desired date/time. We have a help article about zooming in and out of a chart in NinjaTrader Web here:Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.

Thank you Emily. Since I would like to get the 1 minute chart from several weeks ago, it would involve numerous scrolling. Is there a way where I can scroll on the Daily chart then hold it in position at the date that I want and change to the 1 minute chart?

I am not aware of a quicker way to scroll at this time. If you change the time period on a chart to day, then scroll back, then change it to 5-minutes it does appear to jump have scrolled back a few months though there is no way to lock/hold it in position on a certain date. If you would like to try this on your end, please see the details on how to change the time period of a chart here:

        Thank you for your patience.
