Newbie who needs guidance.

Hi everyone. New to this arena and need a path. So much information. Would like to start trading early next year and will take my time to gather knowledge and expertise.

A friend of mine turned me on to this as he has done well and it's great for keeping the mind active. He has since passed on but the idea has stuck with me.

If there is a "kind of" standard protocol on how to educate this ignorant one...I would like to see it, and then start putting questions out to the community.

Let me know if there are some Senseis. I promise not to commandeer your time. Thanks and looking forward to this new adventure.

There is a lot I can say. Most likely, you are not going to listen and will learn the hard way. But if I have to say only one thing - don't spend years on backtests. Screentime >>> backtests. You have to watch charts in realtime every day.

Start with the basics—learn about market types, trading styles, and risk management. Books, online courses, and demo accounts are great tools to begin with. When you're ready, feel free to ask questions—plenty of knowledgeable folks here are happy to help.
