• Opened 4 positions in NQ Dec24 futures
  • Margin requirements per position: $24,240
• Unrealized loss on all positions: -$10,000
• Positions are held overnight (after the trading session closes)

Question:

What will happen to my account under these conditions, and what will be my balance after holding these positions overnight?

The overall balance needed to hold those positions overnight is $96,960. If your account falls bellow the necessary margin requirement, you will be margin called and your positions will be liquidated by your broker's trade desk. If this is a NinjaTrader brokerage account, you can expect that to be their trade desk.
