    Event contracts not working

Event contracts continue to be an absolute clown show. I'm not seeing a single price quoted anywhere.

    Hello NickyD,

    Thank you for the message.

Do you have a VPN on your device? Is it on? If yes, try turning it off and then re-launch the Event Contracts and test if it continues.

Are you in the United States or another country? If you are in another country, try the opposite. Turn the VPN on and try a country like the United States or a country from the EU.
    • Then, relaunch the app and try again.
If you are on a local WiFi, try disconnecting your device from the Wifi and then use Mobile data. Then, relaunch the app and try again.

If the behavior continues, try fully removing the Event Contracts app from your device, update the device if it has any updates available, then restart the device.
    • After updating and restarting, reinstall the Event Contracts app and test again

If you are still unable to see the Event Contracts and their data, please use the following steps to send some additional screenshots and information to the support team directly so we may investigate this behavior further and report it to the development team if needed:
    • Create an email and send it to: Support[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]com with the respective @ and .
    • Subject: Copy and paste the Forum URL
    • Attach: Attach some screenshots of the behaviors, if you can find the app version, take a screenshot and include that too. Feel free to include any additional screenshots that would help demonstrate things
    • Body: Include your device information. What is it and what version is it on? Feel free to include any other additional information as you see fit.

Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.

I am in the US, I wasn't using a VPN.

I'm not using a true "mobile app", I think I'm using a mobile optimized website that the QR code sends you to...?
Predict the daily closing price of some of the world's most popular markets like S'P, Nasdaq, metals, energies & currencies. It's simple, fast ' intuitive.

I am using my desktop browser, which I've always used and did use earlier today to buy a contract.

But you're correct that this is somehow tied to my local wifi connection. The site doesn't work on my phone or desktop if I use local wifi, if I use mobile data or if I do use a VPN on desktop, it works... ? What's that about? It's literally the only thing not working. I am using NT8 desktop w/Continuum connection, email client, 8 browser tabs in 2 browsers... it's all working except for event contracts.. I'm at a loss on how to explain that?

        Hello NickyD,

        Thank you for the update.

Are you on a company, school, work, or other kind of public network or are you on your own home personal network.

Do you use a cable internet, DSL, 4g, or other kind of internet?

Does the same thing happen when you try on a different web browser?

In short, if you take the PC on the home network and only introduce a VPN, this bypasses the thing blocking the Event Contracts from loading in and it works.

If you connect your cellphone to the home network, the event contracts don't load in.

If you use mobile data on either device the event Contracts load in.
        • When the VPN becomes activated, what does this allow you to bypass in the Local Network or the ISP path that it was taking without it on? This is the thing to figure out.

It is possible our support team may be able to provide more information or insight with the Web Browser's console logs, however, if there is no new information, you would want to reach out to the VPN, your Internet Service Provider, or a Network technician for more information on what could be preventing the Event Contracts on you default local network.

Steps to grab the console logs from Chrome so those can be sent to our support team for further investigation:
        • You can do this by clicking the three dots in the top right-hand corner of Chrome > going to More Tools > Developer tools.
        • Next click on "Console" right-click and do a "Save As"
Now, use the steps previously sent to attach those logs to an email to our support team,
        • Create an email and send it to: Support[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]com with the respective @ and .
        • Subject: Copy and paste the Forum URL
        • Attach: Attach the Browser Logs. Attach some screenshots of the behaviors, if you can find the app version, take a screenshot and include that too. Feel free to include any additional screenshots that would help demonstrate things
        • Body: Include your device information. What is it and what version is it on? Feel free to include any other additional information as you see fit.

Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.

This seems to have been caused by FireFox's "Standard" security settings. There's so many ad servers and tracking widgets involved with this page, it's absurd.

I had to exempt this page from my AdBlocker as well as from my browsers standard security settings to get the pages to load properly again.
