High intraday margin

Is this common that intraday margin on micro contacts always equals initial margin?

Intraday margins apply during the hours of 5:00pm CT (Session open) until 3:45pm CT (the next day).

Thank you, but I'm having $1298.00 margin on Micro E-mini S&P contract during a month. Does that mean that there's high volatility all the time?
