During my trading session today, connection was suddenly lost to ninjatrader. Now when i try to login to my account, i get an error message saying my account is locked and to contact the support phone #: 1(312)-262-1250. All i get from the phone number is "Thank you for calling Ninjatrader" and then immediately the call hangs up.

Account locked and support not working
Using ninja trader, trading with rithmic apex prop firm
During my trading session today, connection was suddenly lost to ninjatrader. Now when i try to login to my account, i get an error message saying my account is locked and to contact the support phone #: 1(312)-262-1250. Used the platform from a different location for a couple of days. Return this morning to get the locked account message. Call support and get a very apologetic chap who can't do anything but waste my time talking. Now waiting for a call back from someone who can fix it. I do understand the need for security, but the NT arrangement is worst I have ever had to deal with. This is precisely why I have no money directly at risk with the NT brokerage. Only use this platform for charting and placing trades through other brokers, all of which virtually never have these kinds of problems and who have adequate support staff to deal (immediately) with any such situation that might arise. Still waiting for the call back from NT. Markets have opened. Time is wasted. Really do not need this aggravation.

I use Interactive Brokers. Not the best data feed, but it is sufficient for my purposes. If you need something a bit more robust with historical tick data then you can get the CQG bundle at reasonable cost.
When I finally got the call back from NT the agent said I'd been locked out because of "too many failed login attempts." All I can say is that I personally experienced no such failures.
That was the one and only time I got locked out and it hasn't happened since -- but then I have not used the platform from a different location since.
