Live account switched to Liquidate mode only with no further reason

    Live account switched to Liquidate mode only with no further reason

    So for some unexplainable reason that the compliance team cannot disclose, my live personal account has been switched to liquidate mode only. I asked for an explanation why this is the case as I've only had this account for about a year with most of my time spent on SIM trading to learn more about futures. Please see below response.

    "During a recent review of your account, the decision was made to close the account and return your funds. The account has been placed on liquidation-only mode and will be closed out once the balance is zero. Please withdraw your funds via the customer portal as soon as you can, so they can be returned to you without delay. We understand this is likely disappointing, but we’re not able to provide additional information regarding the decision. Thank you, we wish you well in your future endeavors".

    it is crazy isn't it? It is not even a 5 digit account.. Im not sure what the violation was.. and they can't even disclose what the non compliance was? for a customer trying to learn the system, and most likely would invest more in the future, I think it is within my right to know what the non compliance was to learn from my mistake..

    I have the lifetime multibroker license too and was advised to open an account with either TDAmeritrade or IB. It is just so disappointing that it had to happen this way without further explanation!!!! this kind of treatment i hope everyone wont have to go through.
