How to automatically cancel orders when profit or stop loss is achieved
Hello, I'm new with the platform, I entered to a long position with predefined Profit and Stop Loss targets. As soon as the profit was touched, the position was closed as planned, but the Stop Loss order was not canceled automatically, so I didn't figure that and after a couple of hours I hear the voice alerting me "Stop Filled". How can I do to have all the orders canceled as soon as any target is reached? Similar o the button that says "Exit at Market and CxL" which when I click manually it exits the position at market price and cancels all the orders. Any help appreciated.Tags: None

Hello fajardooj,
Thank you for the message.
From your description, it sounds like what you are trying to do would be achieved by using an ATM Strategy.- The Profit and Stop Loss targets from an ATM Strategy are automatically connected via OCO ID (One Cancels Other)
- So, if one of them is filled or canceled, it would automatically cancel the other order in that group
Please watch through the publicly available videos below for a comprehensive review of setting up and using ATM Strategies:- ATM 201

Is there a way to do this without using ATM? For example if i placed a buy order overnight, and want to call it a day, i want to set a stop loss and take profit OCO order, how do i do that after the fact without having used ATM with my entry?Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Clayton View PostHello fajardooj,

Hello Mithra21,
Thank you for the update.
This could also be done by manually submitting an OCO bracket or pair of orders. To submit a manual OCO order:- Right-click on the SuperDOM, Chart Trader panel, or window you are submitting orders from > Click on OCO Order
- Place your first order
- Place your second order
- Right-click on the panel again and TURN OFF OCO - If you don't, errors can start happening.
- If you want to place another Pair, repeat the steps above.
Please follow along with this video I made that demonstrates using OCO Orders in NinjaTrader:
You would want to make sure that your broker or provider supports "Native OCO" if you plan on turning the PC/Platform off. If it is not "Natively" supported on their servers, the NinjaTrader Platform must remain On and Connected to the account and data to continue working on your behalf.
Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.
