    Super Dom

This might be missing a really easy answer to this question, but when I watch videos on the Super Dom the whole ladder is filled with data. On mine it's just the line right above and below the current price. Do I have to activate something or change my data subscription? Also, for my normal stocks and bonds account I'm thinking of switching to Interactive Brokers. If I do should I change my data subscription to them? I don't currently use them. Or can that account and this account be linked?

    Hello Zinger357,

    Thank you for your post.

Please see the link below for information and a video regarding the differences between the Dynamic and Static SuperDOM. The price ladder of the Dynamic SuperDOM is dynamic and so it freezes when the mouse is on top of it (so it's easier to submit orders).

    https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...ice_ladder.htm

Unfortunately, we are no longer able to offer the Static SuperDOM to trade with third-party brokers. Moving forward, you can use either Chart Trader or Dynamic SuperDOM to place trades from the NinjaTrader platform.. You can also consider downgrading to the last version of NinjaTrader 8 to use the StaticDOM.

Let me know if I may be of further assistance.

        Hello Zinger357,

        Thank you for the update.

To see the additional levels of market depth on the SuperDOM price ladder, you would need to subscribe to Level 2 Market data a.k.a. Depth of Market data.
Since NinjaTrader Brokerage doesn't provide equities data, you would still need to get it from somewhere else.
        • If you plan on trading Options through Interactive Brokers, then you must get the data from them so the orders and naming conventions line up.
        • Otherwise, it is up to you.
          • You can use the real-time data from another source to place orders to the Interactive Brokers account if desired
          • Or, get the real-time data from interactive brokers. Just remember that Interactive Brokers doesn't provide Historical Tick Data. So if you like to look a Tick or Tick based charts like Renko or Range, you would have to supplement the Interactive Brokers connection with one that does provide Historical Tick Data and then force NinjaTrader to use that with the Preferred data by provider
Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.
