Market data description

Hello, I have recently come back to NT8. I have come across the account plan and Market data descriptions in the browser portal. Is there a need to renew my Kinetick subscription, does the new market data replace that. Are the features the same when it come to Futures data, more specifically ES and MES. Also what is the purpose of the account plan. Thank you for your help.

It is your choice to use Kinetick or not. If you are only trading futures e.g. ES and MES and not using any other symbols, you probably don't need it. The market data subscriptions on the new account portal are for your NinjaTrader funded account, and are what used to be called Continuum.

As QuantKey_Bruce stated it would be up to you to decide if you want to use Kinetick or subscribe to market data in the NinjaTrader Client Dashboard.

The market data subscriptions in the NinjaTrader Client Dashboard would likely suffice if you are trading futures instruments.

NinjaTrader no longer supplies license keys (Free, Lease, Lifetime) and this has been replaced with the Account Plan (Free, Monthly, Lifetime) seen in the NinjaTrader Client Dashboard. That said, if you had a license previously then that license could be imported into the NinjaTrader Client Dashboard by clicking 'Import a license key' under the Account Plan section of the Dashboard.
