buy/sell mkt order realized on round up price.

dear all,
maybe i am missing something. is it normal when current price on ES chart is xxxx,25 or xxxx,75 after clicking on buy/sell, order is realized on round up price xxxx,50 or xxxx,00?
how to set this up please?

Thanks for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader Forums.

If a buy market order or sell market order is submitted by clicking the 'Buy Mkt' or 'Sell Mkt' buttons, such as on Chart Trader, and the current market price is say 100.75, the order would be submitted at that price of 100.75. It would not round the order up to 101.00 or round the order down to 100.50 unless the market price happened to have moved at the same time the order was submitted.

NinjaTrader does not have an option for rounding a market order up or down when submitting a buy market or sell market order. Market orders are intended to be submitted at the current market price.

If you want to place orders at a certain price you could consider using Limit orders instead of Market orders.
