I found a mention in the link below, that says to download the 'Event Contracts mobile app'. I do not find that in my Android play store; only the NinjaTrader mobile app, which I already have installed. Thanks!

Event Contracts Help
I saw on NT website that Event Contracts can only be traded on the mobile app. I have NT mobile on my Android phone. I found the ECRTY and other 'EC' contract markets. But, when I click on 'Trade', I am not presented with different strike prices, nor the choice of clicking 'YES' to buy a Call or 'NO' to buy a put.

Hello PLeary,
Event contracts require a separate app than NinjaTrader Mobile. You can get it from the link below.
Event contracts from CME Group is a new way to predict daily price moves on the financial markets. Make daily predictions today at Tradovate. Daily futures.
If you scroll down, you will see Google Play and iPhone buttons from which you can download the app to trade event contracts.

Thanks Jason- yes, I have Tradovate on my phone now. I also opened an account with Tradovate - not sure that was necessary, since I have a live NinjaTrader account.
I'm unable to pull up any unexpired 'OEC' symbols. I watched Anthony Crudele's 2/8/24 show on NT's YT page, and noticed the symbol was 'OECRTY08G4' on his Tradovate DOM.
I figured out the '08' is was current date for that particular day.
Futures are open today (even though it's a holiday). Shouldn't I be able to pull up symbols if I search for 'OECRTY19' in the DOM's symbol lookup? I can see OECRTY16 symbols, but they are all expired.

Event Contracts is working fine on my phone. I bought my first EC call today on ES Futures using my NinjaTrader live account. I got help by emailing NinjaTrader support . com.
You don't use a DOM, instead it is just clicking on strikes and then Yes or No (will it close above my strike?). It looks just like the videos they have on NinjaTrader and Tradovate websites.
The problem was that I had to download the actual Tradovate 'Event Contracts' app on my phone. I had downloaded their regular trading app, which trades regular futures contracts (not EC). By logging into my NT account, it trades from my NinjaTrader account, even though it uses Tradovate's software app.
PS - Jason provided the solution in this thread, but I didn't realize Tradovate had 2 different apps.Last edited by PLeary; 02-20-2024, 11:33 AM.
