Strategy not running in Strategy Analyzer

Hi

I have a strategy that when attached to a chart it displays all entered trades so I can see my entry dates and prices and if it won or lost etc.

When I try to run the same strategy in Analyzer using the same parameters then I get no results back. I have tried altering some settings, run it in optimisation mode but still get no results.

Is there something I am missing?

I have used analyser on many strategies before so it is not completely new to me.

Thank you for the post.

Could you check the Output window when you run the script, are you seeing any errors?

Generally, zero results can indicate something has happened that prevented the logic from placing trades. This could be that the script ran into an error, some logic did not become true or potentially other reasons.

If you are not getting any errors, you may need to add some prints into the script to see where the logic is stopping to get a better idea of what may be happening.

Eventually found out what was causing this issue and it was something in the code.
