C# Strategy: SMTP Send Mail Class

I'm still a newbie on NT8!

Today i was asked whether it is possible to send out an e-mail rather then submitting an buy/sell order to the broker.

I'm developing in c# so my question is, has the NT 8 assembly collection a built in SMTP Send Mail Class or do I have to use Microsoft's SmtpClient Class?

Thank you for the post.

Yes, this is possible.

There are SendMail features within the platform already so you would not need to build an SMTP class or anything.

SendMail() would be used to actually send the message:

You also would need to configure an email share adapter as default:
