VOLMA log error

Hi,
As part of a strategy I have

Calculate = Calculate.OnPriceChange;

but I'm getting the following log message:

VOLMA relies on volume updates expecting Calcuate 'On each tick' or 'On bar close'.

What is this message exactly referring to and is this an error in the script?

Thanks for writing in to our Support team.

This error is referring to your calculate setting - it is not guaranteed that you will receive all volume updates when using Calculate.OnPriceChange as you can potentially miss volume updates if they occur at the same price. Each incoming tick carries volume updates, so by using Calculate.OnEachTick or Caclulate.OnBarClose you will ensure that you are not missing any volume updates when you are calling OnBarUpdate(). Using a different Calculate setting will resolve this error for the reasons mentioned above.
