Automate strategy on multiple instruments

When I create a new strategy, I like to test it on 30-40 different instruments, probably a very typical thing to do. Is there a way to automate this process?

Currently, I go to the strategy analyzer, type in each symbol, run the test, and record various values (e.g. profit factor). Then type in the next symbol and repeat 30-40 times. Is there a faster, preferably automatic, way to do this?

Yes, in the strategy analyzer where you select your instrument you can instead select a list of instruments. For example, when you select a list, such as "Dow 30" it will show all the instruments that make up that list and at the very top of the list is the selection "select all". Select all will allow the strategy analyzer to process all of the instruments in that list in one run.

Thank you so much! The help you guys offer is amazing. This is going to save a lot of time. One more question then. Is there a way to make custom lists of instruments, like a list of the 30-40 instruments I want to test?
