Hi

Is there any way to access the various data streams for products without attaching any code to a chart?

So, for example, if I wanted to look for say a candlestick pattern on many different symbols could I write the code to loop through the various symbols BUT not have the code attached to any specific chart. Or does ninja script require you to attach it to a chart.

If you do have to attach your script to a chart is there any other way this can be achieved?

What you could do is have a market analyzer window open, populated with say 30 stocks. Then you could add an indicator which sets a value to a plot if the condition is true, and this plot value is displayed in the market analyzer window.

I have attached an indicator which will display a value of 1 if a bullish engulfing candle is present on the data series in the Market Analyzer. I went further and built an indicator which will loop through the 1st indicator, and display a 1 if a bullish engulfing was found in the last xBars back. xBars back being how many bars the user wishes to check for this condition.
