Swing trade end of day (bar)

Hi!

Playing around with the strategy builder (some coding) but also the "wizard". I swingtrade mostly myself and I right now trying to backtest some swing trade strategies.

Since Im doing swing trades I want to enter on the same bar that gives the signal (not the next day) At the end of the day.

How do I make this happen?

Thank you for your question Nungwe. This is a two step process.

First you will need to make a multi-timeframe chart. This link has more information.

Next you will need to use a BarsInProgress index on all your trades. This link has more information.

Once you are detecting trade conditions on your primary or incoming bars, and placing trades on your 1 tick bars, you will no longer have to wait for bar closing to place trades. Please let us know if there are any other ways we can help.
