Possible error when removing tab with strategy

Not sure if this is a bug or we are doing something wrong, so please let me know either way?

I am using NT8 8.0.4.0

I have a strategy that uses the ChartControl to plot on the chart

I open a chart with 2 tabs, add the strategy onto one of the tabs
When I close that tab, the ChartControl object is null.

Attaching a file that demonstrates what I am doing.
To reproduce

1. Open new chart
2. Add tab so now you have two tabs open
3. Add strategy to both tabs
4. Remove tab

You should see message in Output window that says ""!!! Error - ChartControl == null !!!"

Thanks for opening the thread.

I have tested your script and I am encountering the same message that you are reporting.

At this point, yes we are observing that ChartContol is getting set to null before State.Terminated is called after the close of a tab. The definitive answer is this is not documented and cannot be noted as expected or unexpected. It may change later down the line by the development team.

None the less, thanks for bring this up.

Documented and expected behaviors will be documented in the help guide. If you find something is behaving contrary to how it is described in the help guide, please let me know.
