Convert Strategies from NT7 to NT8 questions

Hello,

Few questions please as I am trying to move strategies from NT7 from NT8.

1. How do I convert NT7 locked codes created from NT7 Strategy Wizard to use/edit in NT8 Strategy Builder? Do I have recreate these strategies using Strategy Builder?

2. How do I convert NT7 unlock codes to NT8? Do I break codes (for example, Add() - Data to AddDataSeries() ) in NT7 NinjaScript first then compile and export, then import in NT8? Or do I breakcodes from NT7 once imported to NT8?

3. How to change the NT8 NinjaScript Editor background color from black to white like it was in NT7? See attachment.

Thanks for your post.

1) You would need to recreate in the strategy builder of NT8.

2) You would use the NT8 ninjascript wizard (not strategy builder) to create the basic framework of the strategy. The wizard will prompt you for the various properties, additional data series, additional event methods, user inputs, plots and lines. Once the frame work is completed you can then add your code. You can use the code breaking changes document to help convert your NT7 strategy code.

3) To change the NS background color you would need to change the application skin. This is done via Tools>Options>General> properties>Skin
