HELLO How to set a stop loss of 2 and profit target of 1 dan sla strategy

Thank you for your note.

I would suggest using the strategy builder, Stops and Targets screen to build the stop and target actions, for which I have attached screen shots of how you'd set this up.

I have also attached a screen shot of what the code would look like.

There could be an issue with setting a stop loss of 2 ticks from entry, because by the time NinjaTrader receives conformation of your entry order from the exchange/broker and then sends your stop order, depending on the market, its very reasonable the bid/offer may have moved 1-2 ticks which would result in your stop being rejected. I might suggest using a wider stop value.

Hello Tradingsoft,

Buy stops cannot be placed below the market. Sell stops cannot be placed above the market. I have attached a screen shot pointing out what prices the exchange would likely reject your order, thus a stop of 2 ticks from the last traded price, could become invalid by the time it gets to the exchange.
