CL##-## and Renko

Hi NT support team

when I download CL ##-## from Kinetick, if it is a usual chart such as Candle 1min, then I am able to see data from 2016. For example starting 1st March 2016.

I have noticed however that for some type of charts, for example Renko, the data is not visualized beyound March 2017. I don't understand why the type of charts can impact the way the data is uploaded? Will appreciate your help on undertsnading this to force to get data from some date in the past.


Also do you have some information about the exact way CL ##-## is built?

Thank you for your note.

Using CL ##-## would be the same as setting your merge policy to MergeNonBackAdjusted and pulling up the front month crude contract.

Data providers restrict how many days of tick data they supply. Renko charts are built using tick data. It would be expected Renko Charts could only built back as far as your tick data goes.
