Access Custom Indicator Values in Ninjascript 8

Hello,

I wish to backtest and optimize a strategy which works based on custom bars generated by a custom indicator as shown in the data box' screenshot I have added to this post. The Values I want to access are the HAOpen, HAHigh, HALow, HAClose Values. How can this best be accomplished?

PS: What I want to do doesn't work with the standard Heiken Ashi Chart Type.

Hello jcls123, and thank you for your question. In order to expose these variables to the strategy analyzer they do need to be set from your strategy. I have attached a simple example with the MACD.

Heiken-Ashi simply normalizes the presentation of another bar type. You should use the underlying bar type itself when backtesting.
