Days to Load vs. Strategy dates on Chart

Hi NT guys/gals -

I have a Strategy loaded and enabled on Chart. The Chart loads 2 years of data.

However, when I select "Edit Properties" on the Strategy from the Strategies Tab I see "Days to Load" is set to 5.

The question I have is does the Strategy I have loaded to chart use the 2 years of Data i have or does it just load 5 days of data?

To confirm, when your right click on the strategy within the strategies tab and click edit, you are given the option to set Days to Load?

Yes. Confirmed.

Days to Load: 5

However, the Strategy is loaded and enabled directly on a chart. The Chart has 2 years of data. The Strategy is quant-based and uses historical data to inform decisions. So, loading 5 days is insufficient.

I am unable to replicate.

Would you please provide a screen shot of the strategies tab as well as the chart you've applied the strategy on? Please ensure you only have one strategy within the strategies tab working. See the attached screen shot for what I'm asking for.

Two screenshots. Under the Strategies Tab, the Strategy is attached to a Chart (which I've attached). I only have one Strategy. The Chart has loaded 2 years of historical ES and market internal data.

When I select "Edit Properties" on the Strategy, I see Days to Load is set to 5.

My question is, does my strategy load the 2 years of data OR does it only load 5 days?

Please upgrade to the most recent NT8 version 8.0.4, as you should not be given the option to set days to load via the strategies tab after the strategies already been loaded to a chart. The strategy setting applied via the chart are what the strategy uses.
