ATM stop strategies

Hello All,

Newbie to Ninja trader..I'm looking to set up a ATM strategy.

Trading ES.
2 contracts
2 pt stop
move stop to BE after 1.25
1 target 2 pts
2 target 4 pts
after Es moves 3 pts.
move stop from BE to the 2pt target.
I pretty much have my ATM set..but Im not 100 sure how to move my BE stop to the 2 pt target after the market moves 3pts in my favour.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forum!

You would set up the ATM Strategy to utilize Ticks as the Parameter Type, make sure you understand how many tick per point for your instrument. In my case I am using the ES so my ticks are 4 per point.

• We set up our Order Quantity to 2.
• Add another target (total of Targets) and set quantity to 1 for each.
• Stop Loss for both Targets is 8.
• Profit for first Target is 8 and second is 16.
  *See attached image "ATM1".
• Then we create one Stop Strategy, we do this as the Auto Trail portion of the Stop Strategy will not trigger for the first Target.
• In the Stop Strategy window set the following parameters:
• Auto Breakeven: Profit Trigger = 5, Plus = 0.
• Auto Trail: 1 Step, Stop Loss = 4, Profit Trigger = 12, Frequency = 9999.
  *See attached image "StopStrategy1".

We use the Auto Trail in this case as the second adjustment to your Stop Loss when the profit becomes 3 points (12 ticks on the ES) and we set the Stop Loss to 4 ticks behind (12 - 4 = 8 ticks/1 points).
