Strategy Builder - User defined inputs

I recently switch to NT8 and I like it a lot. There is one serious issue thought I cant figure out concerning "Setting user defined variables" in the Strategy Builder.
In NT7: Strategy Action – Misc - Set user defined variables – under Value I was able to enter ”offset type” and for Offset I was able to enter “user defined inputs”
In NT8 this does not seem to be possible anymore… why? Is there a way around it?
In particular I am trying to implement the NT7 BreakEvenWizardExample file into NT8 but have real trouble with it. Any suggestions?
    Thanks so much,

    Hello JBU1314,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums!

Thanks for your comments about NT8, we like it too!

In NT8 there are no internal variables like there were in NT7 (Variable0-Variable9) which was a bit limiting.

What you would need to do is to create a variable in the "inputs and Variable" screen (lower section). Once it is defined there you will be able to then find it under Actions>Misc>Set (name of variable) in the actions window or under User Variables in the conditions window.
