Limit Order cancelled after period in STRATEGY BUILDER

Strategy Builder would place a limit order. If the order has not been accepted and become a trade within the period, I.E... 60 seconds, the order would be cancelled. To accomplish this, it would require Strategy Builder to know the limit order was placed, it has not been entered into the trade, and so the order needs to be cancelled.

The piece I think is difficult, is knowing the limit order has been placed but not accepted into a trade.

Thank you for your post.

Orders submitted by a managed approach strategy are automatically cancelled when the submission bar closes if the order is not filled when isLiveUntilCancelled is false or the overload with the isLiveUntilCancelled parameter is not used.

When using the Strategy Builder, orders are submitted without using the isLiveUntilCancelled bool and will be false, meaning orders will be automatically cancelled.

In order to keep the order alive, you need to resubmit it on each new bar.
