Order ID for dictionary

I want to save a Order in the dictionary.

(This topic has probably been discussed here several times.)


Now I'm wondering which value would be best suited as a key?

If you are using a strategy the ID is not relevant to the strategy and may change depending on the connecting being used. Strategies track orders by the signal name that you give them.

If you are making some kind of custom dictionary then likely yes. You can use custom singal names for each trade so you can differentiate specific trades and locate them in the strategies performance.
