    Look back period for cross above or below

    ​How do i get the look back period for a cross above or below to be zero (or the most recent closed bar)? it seems to default to 1 and changes automatically to 1 if i try to change it to zero.

    Thank you for your post.

    A single timestamp tells you nothing about the direction of movement—only the current relationship between both sides of your comparison.
    You need at least one earlier sample to distinguish “we’re currently above” from “we just crossed above”.
    A look back period of 1 would check for the cross within the last bar.
