The micro and mini markets aren't exact copies. If you look at the charts they tend to differ, slightly, but a difference nonetheless. That can be all the difference when it comes to your strategy. You will need to test your strategy in the micro markets and analyze how it takes and exits trades to see how the to get the desired results.

Well, how exactly is the difference small? Do you see it taking entries where it's supposed to? and exits? Or is the strategy not doing what it would normally do on the mini?

They take the same trades? or different trades? If it takes different trades, you need to find out why? Does the micro act differently so you get stopped out earlier? Or does the strategy do something it doesn't do in the minis? It could be the price action from the micros that'll stop you out differently or flaw in logic.
Actually thinking about it, another thing to consider, the micros have terrible commission compared to the minis. With minis, you could have a Breakeven at 2 ticks above the entry and still make $5-10 while you'd only make a few pennies on the micros. Also, because of that you may need price to travel farther to get multiple RR. I remember calculating how much to get a multiple of 3R after commissions and it wasn't just 3x what it took to get to 1R. It actually exponentially increased the further you tried to aim for....or at least that's my memory of what it did.

You will need to look at the charts to see why the those trades are happening on one chart and not the other. Also, you should probably include a commission template. Those types of results aren't realistic without them.

Does the strategy work in demo? I don't use strategy analyzer all that much, and can't remember if there was any limitations, like it not accurately taking and exiting trades when it's supposed to. It's hard to say why it isn't working without seeing the code, and even then I might not be able to figure it out. Proper testing would be required.

That would depend on what it does. Most indicators would probably act the same, but strategies are a different matter altogether. Slight changes can alter things, so when it comes to strategies it's good to test over a range of data and possibly instruments depending on what you are going for.
