Ive recently come back to looking at the futures market and working on a MCP for futures data and ive been looking at different API data sources and found the NinjaTrader API documnetation and ill be honest i havent touched NinjaTrader in awhile, the website is quoting tradovateapi ? i got an email recently saying NinjaTrader has been bought out and im wanting to understand what the current state of affairs is in regards to Ninjatrader and APIs.
I basically want to develop a quick MCP that allows me to connect my AI LLM to Ninjatrader to be able to scan realtime and historical data and create trades, with this in mind i have a couple questions:
1 - Is this documentation still accurate even tho its mentioning tradovate? https://developer.ninjatrader.com/do...ons/oAuthToken and also where do i generate my API credentials?
2 - Are there any plans for Ninjatrader to create a MCP to give customers access to AI intergration?
3 - can i get full historical data and realtime data via this API when subscribed to them in ninjatrader itself? I have L2/3 full market data with ninjatrader and would much prefer not paying another API provider for this data if i get free access here.
