SetStopLoss reflected in historical bars?

I am trying to utilize the SetStopLoss () to set the stop loss to break even after X ticks in profit. I do not see that being reflected on the chart. Is this to be expected? Is it only durring actual live trades that this function will be reflected? Thanks in advance!

Hello connorlmarble,

The execution markers would show for historical executions including stop losses. Is the strategy applied to the chart you are viewing?
Do you see the execution in the strategy performance window on the Executions display?

For real-time working orders, these would appear when chart trader is enabled and set to the same account as selected for the strategy.


If you are asking about changing the price of Set method from OnBarUpdate(), this would update when the bar closes.

If you would like intra-bar price movements, this would require intra-bar granularity and tick replay.
