on session close with forex

For a strategy with forex, is the on session close condition based on the forex session which should end on friday evening? or is it going on us stock market time? I'm using NT for trading with IB forex. I would think the session would end at 5 on friday evening instead of every day 4

Forex uses the Forex Trading hours template.

The Forex Trading hours template session ends at 5:00 PM Eastern monday through friday.

You can look up the Trading hours template of an instrument in the Instruments window.
