Max Drawdown

I back-tested my strategy in SA for the year 2022.

The summary Max drawdown shows $10,250 and then there are the 12 monthly numbers which are different.
What is the summary showing me vs the monthly numbers I see on the Analysis tab?

If I had to guess, I'd say that the 12 month figures you are being shown are the max drawdown for those particular months, with it being limited to the start and end of those particular periods.
The max drawdown of $10,250, would likely be the most drawdown you've had at one time throughout the year itself. Likely there was a period of drawdown at the end of one month, going into another month?

You have clipped a small portion of the screen so its not possible to say what you have selected.

However, the Analysis display can group trades by:

• Daily
• Weekly
• Monthly
• Yearly
• Trades
• Half-hour of day
• Hour of day
• Day of week

The DrawDown on this display would be for that grouping.
