Problems switching between Playback and Sim101 and back

I Attempted to use a program that submits AtmStrategy using Sim101. It was clear that my controls were not referencing the submitted ATM even after extensive successful testing with playback. I removed the strategy from the control panel and resubmitted it. I was able to get it running properly. However on switching back and forth between playback and Sim101 it failed again. This time, removing it and reapplying the strategy did not get it to work properly in Sim101.

Any ideas as to what is going on ?

Hello JerryWar,

It is normal that you need to re apply the strategy in that use case, when using playback the existing instances of strategies in the control center tab cannot be reused, you need to apply a new instance for the playback101 account.

Re applying the strategy should be the solution to make sure its working when changing between the playback connection specifically.

Jesse, I understand that . That works all the time when switching to playback but it does not work when switching to SIM101

Right, if you try to use a strategy that was applied during playback on sim101 it will fail, it may present a db error in the log as well. You would have to re apply the strategy when connected to any other connection and remove the instance you used in playback.
