Optimizing MultiInstrument Strategy in Strategy Analyzer

Hi I have a MNQ MultiInstrument strategy that runs OnBarClose with several different time frame instances of ES 03-25 added via AddDataSeries

Two Questions:

1)
When I try to run the Strategy Analyzer on it, it runs but never produces any results.

Is there anyway to run the Strategy Analyzer on this kind of strategy?

2)
If I change the instrument added with AddDataSeries to the same instrument as the primary, but on a different time frame, can it be used with the Strategy Analyzer?

I tried this, and i"m sure it worked one time, but now I can't get it to work.

You can use that type of strategy in the analyzer, if it produced no results that likely means the conditions to trade did not become true. You can use print statements to debug the script in that use case.

You can also use multi instrument strategies in the analyzer. I would suggest starting off by using a Print to verify your conditions to trade are becoming true.

thanks you were correct, i assumed it was just a limitation as I know there are a fair number around this sort of thing.
