IDE Enhancements

Is there any way that we can create enhancements (like extensions) to the IDE?
Especially coming from something like vscode.

You would need to use visual studio to do that, there is currently no NinjaScript type that can be used to enhance the built in editor.

Hello reynoldsn,

There is not a way to run scripts in visual studio, that acts as a text editor when being used with NinjaTrader. You can edit the code from visual studio, save the files which causes the NinjaScript editor to compile changes and then you would use NinjaTrader to apply and run any scripts you are editing. The NinjaScript editor also needs to be used to generate any new files before visual studio can be used to edit them.
