There is no built in support for using code repositories like github, you can do that on your own externally using your PC.

Unfortunately we don't have any kind of future improvement guide that would say if this is being considered or not, at this time there is no support for using external code repositories like github. You can manage that externally yourself and use any repo of your choice to manage backups of files.
