EntriesPerDirection will work across strategies

I am running multiple strategies. At any point in time, I want to take only one entry. If I set EntriesPerDirection as 1 in all strategies, will it ensure only one entry at any point in time?

You would need to combine those strategies into one strategy for that to work, entries per direction only controls each individual strategy and not as a group.

Actually I am running 50 strategies on the same instrument. There is a possibility for multiple entry at the same time from different strategies. How to avoid that?

Strategies don't see what other strategies are doing so there is not a built in way to prevent entries across multiple strategies. The suggestion would be to make 1 strategy that trades all of the instruments you wanted so you can use the Positions collection to see which instruments have positions.
