Tick Replay Stops Updating Price - Trend Lines Strategy

Hello,

We just came across an issue with a Strategy that uses the Trend Lines indicators while Tick Replay is on.

• The price on the chart completely stops updating
• Bid/Ask still update - It's just the price of the bar itself that stops updating
• Error On Calling Trend Lines / Swing in Output

I recreated this error with a very basic Strategy Builder script that I will attach here (Test3).

I am able to load the Trend Lines and Swing indicator manually through 'Indicators'. The problem seems to only be if a strategy is calling on them.

Could not find any documents regarding this so I figured it's best to reach out here and see if there is already a solution or a limitation I'm not aware of.

I tried the strategy but there was no issue with updating for me. Are you certain that the trading hours being used are not the reason? If you are using hours which are inside the ETH hours you would see the bars stop before the market data meaning you'll see the ask and bid update but not the chart bars.

If that is not the case I would likely suggest doing a clean install to make sure anything imported is not affecting the test.

Thank you for your reply. Just wanted to update a bit on this in the odd case someone else ever runs into it.

You are right. I tried to replicate this on my VPS where I only have my own product loaded an no other indicators. I could not replicate this issue there.
I figured it must be an indicator on my main PC that was causing this. I started removing them in small sections and testing the chart after each removal.

I removed probably 50+ indicators. But it wasn't until I removed these 4 at the same time. That is when everything started working like normal again.
I re-imported the D3SpotterV3B and and DivergenceInputSeries because they are the only ones I recognized and everything still works fine with these 2 imported.

Wasn't really checking what was getting removed beforehand. I didn't have back ups. The D3SpotterV3Bmod I believe was just one that I was messing around with and not really sure what the DeltaIntensity is or where it came from. My guess is one of those caused the problem.

I am working with 3 others all experiencing the same problem. All of us have many indicators imported. But they just don't have these specific ones that worked for me. So, it appears like maybe different ones can also cause this problem.

The issue has been the same for everyone, as long as the strategy is calling on the Trend Lines indicator. Even if the indicator is not really being used. As long as Tick Replay is on, it will stop updating the price as soon as its enabled.

• One of them did a clean install and everything works fine afterwards.
• The others, I had to remove the Trend Lines Filter option from my product and it seems like that fixeded it for them.

Seems like that will have to be a temporary solution until we can find which indicator(s) can cause this.
