strategy with indicator always "calculate"

I have an indicator.

(Without a second data series and without a plot)

I would like to add this indicator to a strategy.

But the strategy always says "calculate".






Can anyone tell me why this is?

If I add an SMA as a test, then it works.

Thank you for your post.

If the strategy is calculating fine using the SMA, but not with this custom indicator, then this would suggest the custom indicator has more complicated logic that takes more time to process.
