Create custom button to flatten all positions

I know we can "flatten everything" by right clicking the mouse under chart trader. Just wondering if we can add a button there doing the same thing, meaning closing all positions at account level.

Yes, you can create a custom button to flatten all positions.

We have an existing sample script that demonstrates creating custom buttons for the Chart Trader:

You could add functionality to flatten the account on a specific instrument using Flatten().

I noticed using flatten() would close my strategy. In order to avoid disable current strategy, is it possible to call CreateOrder() and Submit() within OnButtonClick() method of strategy development, for secondary data series (instrument) ? If yes, do you have a sample Ninja Script to get me started ?

You could call CreateOrder and Submit, these will submit orders directly to the account and you can specify the Instrument you want to submit the order to.

We have an existing Indicator sample script that demonstrates using CreateOrder and Submit order from custom chart buttons.
